It is great base to explore and enjoy the local countryside with many walks and pursuits; the golf course is just a few minutes walk and there are a number of local fishing beats available. It is just a short 10 minute drive to Drumlanrig Castle which has excellent walks.
The Airbnb Flat is just across the road from the Aires Site, Livery and Arena.

The Flat is adjacent to the Railway Line - but is secured from it and it generates minimal noise, especially at night.

I liked the decor, the bed was very comfortable and parking right outside was easy. The first time the train went past it made us both look up, but once we knew how it sounded it didn't bother us again, it didn't run during the night either. I would definitely stay here again." Gina

"Sharon was an absolute brilliant host to me and my partner who came along to stay in the area for 2 nights. Sharon left fresh shortbread and a pint of milk on arrival along with a folder that had leaflets about the local area, what do to and good places to eat. Sharon left myself a pink of milk on the step in the morning and gave brilliant directions to the local town. Would highly recommend this lovely air b&b, very homely and cosy place to stay" Niamh
